Bible study and prayer are a key part of knowing God and being equipped to perform good works God has prepared in advance for us to do. We meet together in small groups in homes to read and talk about God’s Word. Visitors are welcome!

Bible Study / Fellowship on Wednesday
On Wednesday nights, dinner, fellowship, Bible Study and prayer are held at a member’s home in Coral Bay. The location can vary based on time of year and number of expected participants. The best way to find out about the Coral Bay study is to watch for announcements @FreshwaterChurchVI Facebook page or Instagram. It is also announced during worship service on Sunday.
Discipleship and Membership Classes
For a deeper faith journey, local residents gather together for specific discipleship classes. These typically meet for a set number of weeks, using curriculum developed by others.
A commitment to attend is required as each week builds on the previous week’s lesson. One such curriculum is Experiencing God by Henry Blackaby. The discipleship courses typically have daily assignments and we come together once a week to discuss what we’ve learned. This is a great tool for those who want to “go deeper” in their faith, to learn how to listen to God, hear His voice and know His will for their lives. Visitors are not excluded from attending, but they need to recognize the nature of the classes means they may not understand the full context if present for only one class.
